hip-hop head, her aim is to sing as high as Mariah Carey and as low as Nate Dogg!

“I never knew I would fall in love with songwriting so much. I have always been a writer, from articles to bars, poetry to novels but I never ever thought of pursuing a career as songwriter for other artists. Until I got a taste of it…now that’s ALL I wanna do ahaha!
Don’t get me wrong, I still do want to be known as Africa’s answer to Lauryn Hill hehe! But, I would love to leave a legacy like Burt Bacharach. Most people do not know that name, but if I start singing one of his songs, I bet you join in.”

Before anything, Brobè is a Hip-Hop head. As a child, the raw aggressive sounds of 90’s hip-hop groomed her into a lover of the art. Influences from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Wu-Tang Clan, Rah Digga, Onyx, Eminem and NWA have all inspired her to rap with character, concentrating heavily on flow and delivery.
Simply put, she is a phenomenal rapper! Her Ghanaian heritage, South London upbringing and hip-hop influences makes her the breath of fresh her the scene has been waiting for.
